Can I wallpaper over Renovlies?

Yes, you can wallpaper over Renovlies, as long as the Renovlies has first been given a coat of latex. That latex coat seals the fleece. The wallpaper paste won't soak into it, and the wallpaper and Renovlies bond well together.

Wallpapering over Renovlies that hasn't been latexed yet

Bare Renovlies absorbs wallpaper paste. The paste then dries too quickly and the wallpaper comes loose, often starting at the seams. So always have bare Renovlies latexed or primed first. Not sure whether there's already latex on it? We can tell straight away during an inspection.

Removing the wallpaper later

If you ever want to remove the wallpaper, the latex coat protects the Renovlies underneath. How easily the wallpaper comes off depends on the type of wallpaper. That's why the price for removal varies from situation to situation.
