The prices for removing wallpaper can fluctuate, as there are differences in how easy or difficult the wallpaper is to remove.

Can we make an appointment for the entire neighborhood?
Of course. If you have a few neighbors (< 10) you can make use of the neighbor program. One of you is often the "driving force". In practice, it involves nothing more than pointing neighbors to our quote by sharing it in a WhatsApp group or Facebook group. Depending on the number of neighbors who sign, we offer a discount on Renovlies+latex. If you would like to make an appointment on behalf of the entire neighborhood, we can offer a collective deal. From 12 participating neighbors onward, a special price applies. What we need for that is (if you and your neighbors are on board) a list of names, email addresses, Mr. and/or Mrs., address and delivery date (expected). We will send a separate quote with the special price to each individual, and this applies once the minimum number of neighbors has signed. We make separate appointments with everyone regarding extras, colors, etc. So you are not responsible for your neighbors. If you are interested, we would love to hear from you.
Can you also apply latex paint to the ceilings of the rooms?
Yes. We apply primer and latex paint. The result is a beautifully smooth ceiling in the color of your choice. We often take care of this after the ceilings have been plastered, because people want the V-joints in their ceiling to be filled and smoothed out. This allows you to leisurely select the right colors for the accent walls. You can even upload a photo and see your wall in the correct color. (instructions are included)
We can reproduce 99% of all colors. It is advisable to pass on your preferences for the finish. We will then check with the paint desk. You can always supply the paint from your own supplier. We will then deduct an amount from the surcharge for an extra coat. Can you work during the underfloor heating start-up protocol?
If you have underfloor heating in your home, a start-up protocol will be recommended. This means that every day the water temperature of the underfloor heating is increased (5 degrees per day up to 40 degrees) and cooled down (5 degrees per day to 20 degrees). It is not a problem if you carry out the start-up protocol while we are working. It is not advisable to carry it out after us: temperature fluctuations affect the walls, which can cause unnecessary cracks (movement of the walls).
Always seek advice from your contractor in this matter. It is possible that a start-up protocol for you differs from the standard one.Ceiling or wall finishing first?

Do damp walls affect your work?
Sometimes people ask whether they need to turn on construction heating before we arrive. This is not necessary; as long as the walls are visually dry (no water on the windowsill), we can simply get to work. The Renovlies and latex are vapour-permeable, so the moisture will gradually draw out of your walls over time.
It is possible that the property is too damp for the plaster we apply to dry properly — it may simply take too long to dry. It does need to be dry before we can continue. In that case, we can arrange one or more dehumidifiers for you.Does gluing affect the underfloor heating start-up protocol?
You need to have completed this before we arrive, or start it as we begin. If you start the protocol after us, there is a risk of cracking.

Your presence is not required. Many customers give us access and simply go about their day. We will keep you updated throughout the process and deliver everything neatly upon completion.

Do you also do plastering work?
Of course. But we are not plasterers. We smooth walls that have been finished with granol (e.g. during renovation); for complete homes requiring plastering work, you are better off hiring a professional plasterer. The same applies to filling V-joints — that specialty is truly the domain of the plasterer. Since Renovlies is an affordable alternative to plastering, we have specialised in that. Moreover, micro-cracks in walls in new-build properties remain hidden behind the Renovlies, whereas with plastering they would be visible. What we often do is apply primer and latex to a plastered ceiling. Ask about the possibilities.
Do you also install floors?

Yes. This applies to all brands of latex, except satin or washable latex. These shiny spots can occur through contact/rubbing against the wall. They are particularly likely to be visible with dark colors such as black, blue, and brown.
We have a detailed explanation available from one of our suppliers about the sensitivity to shining and streaking. This is also an interesting document that precisely describes what scrub classes are. For our products we naturally use scrub class 1 (Scrub class 1 is different from washable latex).
If you want to be certain that this cannot happen in your home, it is best to have your entire home finished with semi-gloss or washable latex. However, the costs for this are approximately double the costs of regular latex. Hospital operating rooms and waiting rooms are finished with this type of paint. Most people choose to have only the kitchen done with washable latex.
